Georgie-Jane Drohan's curator insight, July 28, 7:29 AM
This is a fantastic solution to many problems airlines face, I have scooped this, because its so intriguing to hear how they intend to pass it through The FAA and safety regulations within the next couple of years. This could solve so many problems for people wanting to fly who have health issues or at risk of DVT. Usually turnarounds are about 30 mins. The fact they aim to do a turnaround in the same amount of time is impressive. Loading these compartments would mean they could be cleaned prior on the ground before being loaded. Leading to more jobs within the industry. And lightening the load of cabin crew members, who sometimes need to assist with the turn around.
