Leading the Way - A diverse range of execs means a brighter future for the industry

Leading the Way - A diverse range of execs means a brighter future for the industry | Inspiration Hub | Scoop.it

Thanks to the meeting industry’s global breadth, diversity comes naturally—at least, when the view is from 10,000 feet. But break the meeting industry down in segments—especially at the executive level—and you’ll be sure to find areas where all the faces look … similar. Good news though: As awareness of diversity issues has grown, many segments of the industry have made an effort to hire a broader range of people for entry-level jobs and that will eventually trickle-up to more diversity at the executive level.
